Create, View or Modify Quotation Requests

All quotation requests from dedicated **email**, **webpage,** and **user-created** requests are with in **QUOTATION ENGINE &gt; REQUESTS**.

Sort to view recent or oldest processed requests.

[**View Requests**](https://v335.any3dp.app/en/requests?page=1&perPage=250) **&gt;** Displays the **Request list**.

> Clicking on a customer request allows the user to review existing details and make necessary modifications to submitted requests via **email**, **webpage**, and **user-created** entries before generating estimates.

Click on "View requests"

Sort to arrange the most recent and oldest requests for processing.

Follow the steps below to create a new request:

Follow these procedure to create a new request:

&gt; Click on **Customer** and select the recipient customer from the drop-down list.

Add **Order / RDO / RFQ** based on the company invoices.

> This is not mandatory, as ANY3DP automatically creates and assigns unique reference codes for each request for tracking and follow-up.

Add the **Date of request**

> This is the date when the request for quotation is made.

Add the **request expiration date**

> By this date, the estimate for the request must be generated and forwarded to the customer.

Add the **Operator User** from the drop-down list.

> Only personnel with ANY3DP access to generate requests will have their information saved under Operator User and User in charge

Add **User in Charge**

> Use this if the personnel submitting the request is different from the user interacting with the customer.

**Components File Specifications &gt; Directory**

&gt; Copy and paste the link to the local directory where the 3D file for the quotation request is stored.

> **ANY3DP** automatically saves the most recently added directory links, allowing for easy access in future requests.

Drag the CAD file and drop it in the designated area, or click on **'Click here'** to add the CAD file.

&gt;  This opens the local directory that was previously added under **Directory** from which the CAD model for the quotation request can be uploaded.

Set the **Component Code** to a unique alphanumeric string.

> By default, the application will use the local CAD file name as the component code.

**Quantity** &gt; Set the total number of units to be **3D printed**, as requested by the customer.

**Component Similar to (Code)** &gt; Enter the component code of a similar CAD model previously used for quotation generation, which can serve as a reference.

For example, if quoting a new 3D component (e.g., `AS_v2`), and a similar component (`AS_v1`) was previously quoted, should enter `AS_v1` in this field.

**Description of the Component** &gt; Enter details provided by the customer to support the design aspects of the 3D file, including relevant specifications and requirements to guide the 3D modeling, simulation, and printing processes.

**Component Specification**

**Customer priority** &gt; Indicate the priority level specified by the customer for this request, which can help in scheduling and resource allocation

**Technology** &gt; Specify the 3D printing technology required for this request, such as FDM, DLS, LPBF, MJF, or another available method on the shop floor, based on the customer’s needs and material requirements.

**Material Type** &gt; Based on the specified technology, select the appropriate material type required for the 3D print, such as PLA, ABS, resin, metal, or other materials specified by the customer to support design and functional requirements.

**Material** &gt; Specify the material to be used for the production of the component, linked to the selected material type.

**Color** &gt; Select the required color for the component from the drop-down list, ensuring it aligns with the customer's preferences and design specifications.

**2D Drawing** &gt; Select this option if the customer has provided a 2D file as a reference model for quotation generation.

> If selected, enter all details specified by the customer from the 2D file under **Notes**. This information will assist internal designers in generating the 3D model and generate accurate estimate.

**Notes**

Enter specific requirements or details provided by the customer, including finishing type, color, and any model-related specifications that will assist the operator and system in generating an accurate quotation.

Finalize and complete the request by clicking **'Create'** after ensuring all details are accurately filled in.

**Or** click on **'Create and Compile Similar'**. This action compiles the request with any existing similar requests that have been raised previously.
